Trust God Will Always Be There For You | Kelly Kate

Trust: (noun) Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc. of a person or thing; confidence.

Trust is hard for many people, including me. There are very, very, few people I trust. Trust is relying on others, but a lot of time we don’t want to trust others. We are afraid they will let us down or hurt us so we don’t trust. But we can’t do everything on our own so we need to trust. There is one person who will never let you down. He has a plan for your life. He is always there for you and always will be He is God.

People in this world will let you down. We all have flaws and we all make mistakes because we are human, but God is so much more. God has your life in his hands and knows exactly what is going to happen; so trust him. Trust that God will always be there for you.

Sometimes we lose focus, put our priorities in the wrong place, and start putting our trust in ourselves or other people and we stop trusting God. But the truth is, other people will let you down, you will let yourself down, but God will never let you down. You can trust that God will ALWAYS be there for you, in thick and thin. Even when we lose sight of God he is always there ready to lead us home.

Trust plays a very big role in your life when you don’t know what’s happing or what’s going to happen. No matter what is going on you have to trust that God has an amazing and fantastic plan for your life, so trust him. When all you can see is only what’s right in front of you, trust that God can see the whole picture and knows exactly what’s going to happen next.

Even when your world feels like it’s falling apart and nothing good could come out of the situation you’re in, something good will come out of it, I promise. Whether it will be strengthening you in your faith or drawing you closer to him or just showing other people the light of God, you have to TRUST that God has a plan.

Proverbs 3: 5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I can 100% guarantee that God does direct your path, so don’t be afraid to trust him. Trust that God is sovereign. Trust that he created everything and everyone. Trust that God knows what’s going to happen and has a plan.

  1. A great post on an important subject. Just last year, I went through one of the more trying circumstances I have faced in my life and trusting God is what got me through it. Looking back, His sovereignty and goodness were clear!

  2. Trust is tough. But I think I have grown more trusting over the last year. We have moved three times, four if you count the church meeting place moving. It was very stressful, trying, and suspenseful. I remember one particular day when we found out the house we were renting had was selling and that we would have to move again. I don’t cry easily, but I did that day. 😦 I also wrote up a post about how I was feeling and everything. In that same post I chose to look back at all that God had done for me over the last few months, and include Jeremiah 29:11. My emotions did not want to trust God but I made a decision to trust Him. A week later, we had the keys to a house we could never afford to buy, and were taking the first round of boxes over. I had chosen to trust God, and He proved Himself, again, faithful. 🙂

    1. Wow, that’s so beautiful how God has worked in your life through trials! He has been teaching me trust too through different health struggles I’ve had to walk through. Such an important lesson. ❤ Thanks for reading Kelly's article, Courtney!
