Sweet Saturday Sayings | 1.6.18

The first Saturday in January–so hard to believe!

Today’s collection of quotes cover the leaving our pasts and future with Christ, looking to heaven, resting in His love, and trusting Him in trials. ❤

Leaving those shards of the past behind frees us to embrace our future in with joy:

“Let the past rest, but let it rest in the sweet embrace of Christ. Leave the broken, irreversible past in His hands, and step out into the invincible future with Him.”- Oswald Chamb

This song has been an incredible blessing to my heart this winter:

Add heading (3)

Nothing is higher or deeper or wider than Christ’s all-surpassing love–not even our fear (see Ephesians 3:17-19)….

Whatever mountain looms before you, know that God's love is greater.

A comforting truth to cling to in dark valleys–there is always much light and growth!

God is always doing 10,000 things in your life, and you may be aware of three of them.

Question of the week:

What book are you the most excited about reading in 2018?

Also, how has your New Year been so far? I’d love to know! 😉

With love,

Moriah Simonowich

  1. Honestly, I haven’t written out a list of books to read this year yet, so I’m not sure. But I just finished reading ‘God Works The Night Shift’ by Ron Mehl. It was really good, just the encouragement I needed. 🙂
